Just did mine and its past 950.
Going to give it a miss this year, I can't be arsed with the waiting for the ferries, faffing, expensive hotels and the sea sickness all for a sub 3hr 39mins ride.
It's where I was born so always happy for a reason to go back for a few days. You could just ride a bit slower jonclimber and with your evident awesomness go for a ride with some locals the day before/after 😀
