Anyone got a recommendation for a really good coach in North Wales, lakes, Peak or thereabouts. Was hoping to do Jedi but he's way down south.

Preferably with space this week ( yes I know)

Needs to be someone really good because I'm frankly really shit. Someone extremely patient and with the ability to train a blancmange.

Basically want to learn how to jump and drop slightly. Nothing spectacular, but want to be able to at least pretend to make some semblance of an effort when cycling with my kid.

Your lad can jump fine. Go out and session a tabletop with him until you suss it.
Failing that, not sure if Elliott Heap still coaches, worth a look.

Also, check out Leo Smith

Was going to suggest Leo - he coaches at Farmer John's.

Also this is Elliot Heap & his brother:

Mmmm sort of. I meanyes he defo can, but the follow me thing hasn't really worked. Even accounting for a frankly pathetic day at Antur, we've done around 40 or 50,000m of descending this summer, most of it me following him, and I'm still pisch.

When we discovered what an absolute dive Montgenevre was we did indeed session some stuff endlessly and he made some improvements to me. But now I'm exhausted and brain-dead I've slipped a load and figure I maybe ought to try a profi.

I’m South Manchester (and useless too) and have used Andrew Mee from Ride With Mee coaching. He has raced Enduro to a decent level and is very patient with a middle aged dosser like me. He is N Manchester based so can coach at Rivi, Phillips Park etc. Got me from wheels on ground riding to small sends at Phillips Park in one session - highly recommend
