Good luck fella.
Good work by whoever was with him (presuming it was the Boggies) until the ambulance arrived

Update from the Book of Faces:

Good news on Simon. Semi-conscious fully functioning. In a better state than 3 weeks in last time.

At least it seems it wasn't as serious as last time, hope he makes a full recovery.

Can't believe the lengths some folk will go to just to extend an STW thread about themselves 😉

Wow. Best wishes for speedy recovery.

Sounds like something underlying needs sorting out before going anywhere near a bike again though.

Last FB boggies update from his sister was that he was still to unwell to accept visitors and he
had a severe drop in blood pressure and increase in temperature yesterday. He had been free of canula but a new one was inserted in order to administer fluid and bp has started to improve . Temperature is moderating. Today's post illustrates that Simon is still very ill. I don't update very often because day to day there is little to report. There is very gradual improvement. Thank you for the private messages from some of you asking about visiting. Be assured that as soon as he is fit to see his friends I will post here.

Rich

Latest update from their FB page is that Simon is still in hospital but no longer on antibiotics after the last xray showed a much clearer chest. He is becoming more mobile under his own steam, although not walking yet.

Apparently he's had various infections and secondary illnesses since that second heart attack but seems to be making a steady recovery now.

Last I heard (might even have been via a separate thread on here) was that he was in a care home and he / his family had asked for privacy. That news however is several months old and I've heard / seen no other info since.

I was in Lancaster last week, his house has blinds down and the letterbox sealed up.

Postierich might know more...
