Hello

Planning a 3-4 day break with mates in Mallorca in April, mostly oriented around road bikes. Any recommendations for hotels or hostels that are bike-friendly and not too expensive?

Hoping for something £30-60 per person per night. As for location, ideally anything west of the Palma-Alcudia line... basically in the hilly bit!

Cheers 🙂

Bob

Hotel Duva or Pollensamar Appartments for me, both in Puerto Pollensa both booked through Alpharooms.

+1 for Duva if you're there 7-21 April Dave Legros camp is also in town.
I've been to the Duva every year for 4 yrs now and it's great, however never seen a hotel in Puerto Pollenca that isn't geared up for cyclists.

We are going to Hotel Uyal (Puerto Pollensa)in April.
Well set up for bikes and great value for money.
Right beside the hills 🙂

We stayed in the Viva Tropic in Alcudia, it's perfect for bikes with a locked bike storage place and bike shop in the hotel!

Also has a pool, sauna, steam room and gym which was nice to relax in after a day in the bike!

We're in Hotel Diana in Puerto Pollensa end of April. It cost us £200 for 5 nights half board (4*). Will be back in august too, staying at the Uyal (as mentioned) with the family. We've stayed at the Uyal a few times (family hols), can thoroughly recommend it (and the Diana - stopped in the Diana last April whilst on a cycling trip, was only £100 then! It was also a week earlier than we're going this year).

We stayed in hotel miramar. In port de soller in October. Seafront with balcony. B and b 35 quid per night. Lovely wee town. At the foot of puig major. Thoroughly recommend. Good bikes to hire just beside at tramuntana adventures

We have stayed at the Apartments Daina which are on the road behind the hotel in Puerto P. Not exactly luxury but totally adequate and with a tiny kitchen so if like us cash is tight you can cook a few things to avoid eating out every night. You can then spend the money saved in the bars on the sea front.

Thanks all, plenty to choose from and exactly what I was looking for. GR-221 looks awesome too. Need to do that.

Duva gets my vote too.
Stayed in Daina appartments too last year, got their own lock up for bikes.

Dont forget to call in to bar Nostalga to see Colin. Great fun.
