I'm currently running Superstar Nano flats, great pedals, super wide platform for my flat feet. Moved from using skate shoes to 5.10's, and they turned out to be far too grippy - to the point where I couldn't move my foot when it was on the pedal into the right position.
Ditched the 5.10's and bought some Van's Gravels - great shoe, grippy but not as much as 5.10's (in a good way), can move my foot about a bit, but not much.
So I need to make my pedal/shoe combo a tiny bit less grippy and I think it'll be perfect. The pedals are currently running 8mm grub screws (with 4mm exposed), and thinking of swapping these out for 6mm (available on ebay).
Question is, will this work, or will I be wasting money? Anyone else tried it?
remove just a few of the 8mm pins. see if that works frist. cheaper and less hassle.
