Just a wonder, if anyone has done it with success? If so, where did you get the silicon gripper from?

I suspect it would look a bit ...well, shit, really, unless you can do it really well.

I have made 3/4s from bib tights; just chop 'em off mid calf.

That is my concern, but I do know a lady who is teh shiznitz, as the kids say, with a sewing machine.

erm...by the time you've farted about, found a seamstress, found silicone gripper, found a way to bond silicone to lycra....why not just buy bib shorts?
