Hi! Aluminium frame, rubber/plastic downtube Protector.

Most of it is still stuck very well, but the corners are lifting and it looks tatty. What glue would work and won't damage the frame ?

Silicone sealent? You could wipe the exposed parts down with somehting to clean the edges and the frame (Isopropyl maybe) and then put the silicone under the protector and smear a bit over it as well.

Take the whole thing off, clean with isopropyl alcohol and use 3m vhb tape cut to shape.

I did a ‘temporary’ fix with Sugru on a downtube protector that was starting to peel off several years ago and it’s still going strong
