Searched all over for replacement piston seals but it looks like Magura operate a closed shop unless any one can point me in the right direction 🙁
Nope. You can't get 'em. Full new calliper or service by Magura only.
you can look on the Magura forums but, as you say otherwise send it off and they'll replace the caliper.
Thanks I have emailed them. Very frustrating that they don't do spares, makes you replace your brakes after the 5 year warranty though
i had to get rid of the Julie on my hardtail for the same reason. seems like they stopped doing the spares a while ago as the Julie is now an old brake. it could be that the Marta brake is heading down the same road...
seadog99 - These guys are incredibly helpful and are the UK Service Centre for Magura. Can't comment on whether you'll need a new caliper or not but deffo give them a try, they helped me out with a broken Marta caliper last year.

I thought only Shimano did this. Must be something to do with mineral oil!
bennyboy1- cheers thats who I emailed, thanks
Well the advice is that it's probably the master cyclinder that has gone tits up and not the caliper.
£146 to sort it, eeeek.
Time to upgrade me thinks. Although I am not so sure, I fully bleed it one day and its ok, next day its got air in it again !
i would say find your local bearing ,belt and seals depot and go there with an example of the seals. Chances are they'll have em but you'll pay few quid for for just two. I do this for wheel hub bearings and seals in old Rockshcks rear shock.
Coincidently, my Avid juicy seals were playing up causing the pistons not to return properly after braking. On inspection, i could see the pistons seals were slightly frayed on the inner surface. When i got replacements pistons and seals ,twice(don't ask)... it appears the new pistons have a slightly smaller diameter causing fluid leak at the caliper .I wrecked the old pistons on removal unfortunately. My improvisation was to wrap a layer of duct tape once round the piston circumference and it seems to be enough to rectify the problem. Just got to worry if brake fluid will eventually damage duct tape. See how it goes.!!!
