The rebound adjuster in my Durin MD120M is stuck into the rebound damper assembly (it was like this when I bought the bike s/h). The knob on the end has been broken off, leaving the 2.5mm hex shaft sticking out. It rotates relatively easily, probably a couple of turns of travel (although the shaft winds in and out, when I think it should be just going round and round).
From what I can gather I think it should just pull off, but it's pretty well stuck in there. I've disassembled the forks and I still can't get it out by gripping it with pliers and yanking/levering at it. I think the damper is working fine, and the adjustment seems like it is as well, but I'd like to get the broken adjuster out so I can install a new one.
Any ideas?
