Have some MT Trail Magura calipers to fit to a bike with Tektro brakes. Its an e-bike...
Front is no issue obvs but the rear is the usual internally routed and around the motor situation. I can't find a manual to see if there is a cable clamp in there somewhere. The rear line on the new caliper will have to be split and fresh Royal Blood used....
Can I fit the Magura on the Tektro line? I have new olives and barbs... or do I have to thread the Magura line through so the whole system is Magura? Can I end up with Magura M/cyl - Tektro hose - Magura caliper and not die?
The caliper connection is almost certainly different so I'm pretty sure you'll need to remove the whole line. You may be able to pull the Magura line through with it.
If thats the case, I hope so. A Turbo Levo has a hose clamp above the motor.. which would need to come out...
