You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
So have been slowly building myself a HT with various bits off the various forum/auction sites. Nearing completion now but I have found myself with a PM fork (Reba RL 2012) and an IS front Caliper (Magura Marta).
I have been searching in vain for a Magura No3 adapter to mount the caliper but zip so far. Took a punt on a Hope IS2PM adapter but the piston housing is in the way.
I have reversed the adapter though and if I pack it with 5mm of washers away from the fork mount it will run a 203mm rotor. The Rebas are rated for a 210mm rotor and are QR9.
Any one forsee any problems doing this other than its serious over kill for the HT build and I will probably flip myself over the top 😀
cheers
Jas
I know this is probably a silly question but have you contacted the MAGURA Service Center UK?

Noah's arc lists a bunch of adapter too.
I don't think a 5mm stack of washer isn't the best idea, but then most avid brakes use old v-brake 'washers' to allow precision alignment. It's not like that's much more than what your talking about doing..
Thanks Zippy, Noahs dont have the No3 adapter which is the one I am after. I have found plenty of 5mm M6 spacers on ebay so will use those instead of washers if I have to.
Thanks for the email link, will drop them a line
cheers
