I want to be able to pedal in normal shoes /flipflops for jaunts around town, but have clicks for longer rides.
CBA changing pedals for each ride.
Was looking at Shimano one sided spds, but came across these Magped pedals. They look like they might offer what I'm after.... But, magnets?
Anyone had real life experience of these?
My fear is that they'll disconnect just when you don't want them to...
A quick search doesn't find it, but I had remembered the magped stuff being one of the relatively few things I'd seen a properly scathing review of in Singletrack in recent memory?
There have been reviews of magnetic pedals on a few sites, I recall all the review said they were rubbish.
