I'm pretty sold on MTB Batteries Lumenator TBH, but Magicshines price drop on thier MJ812 kit has got me undecided.
I had a DX light charger/battery fail on me yesterday, so should I forget Magicshine or are they a reliable contender to MTB Batteries?

I'd go with Smudge (MTBBatteries) on the grounds he'd see you right if something did die on you.
