I've the mj808e model but might apply to others, anyway I noticed the there is a rattle coming from the head unit, anyone else had this? Should I worry about it?
To be fair I noticed this when testing in the garden, I haven't ridden with it yet..
It shouldnt rattle, mine doesn't.
Did you get it from the uk?
Either the lens bezel is loose or the ring retaining the PCB inside is, 2 minute fix with some needle nose/circlip pliers...
Yeah bought in the uk, I can send it back, but if the fix is two minutes...
cookeaa - I did take the front cap off and take a look inside. After taking out the reflector I notice there is a metal ring around the LED on top of PCB(?) which is what I think is rattling - is this what you're referring to??
Is there a rubber O ring, I'm sure mine has one......
I'll take a look, I'm sure there's a o-ring at the glass end of things, but not down in the guts on the unit.
