Just wanted to put a quick message up in praise of Simon at Madison.
LBS didn't have a part and they didn't know the part number to order it so told me to contact Madison for the part number and they'd then order it for me.
Quick email to Madison and got reply within half an hour or so offering to post me out the part directly FOC. Arrived in the morning, less than 12 hours after I sent the email.

on the other hand they screwed me over totally.
I've been waiting 2 years from them to return my phone call or answer my email. Ended up with the manufacturer (clearly embarrassed) sending me the part direct
Maybe things have improved over the last 2 years. It happens.
Now there's a thread title I never expected to see on a bike forum. I eagerly await the thread praising Dave Hinde for his excellent customer service skills from somebody who's had a problem.
