Hi,
Despite growing up in the area i've not lived there for a long while. I will be visiting my old dears in a few weeks and plan to do a couple of rides - one of which will be the 'old faithful'.
But, i'm struggling to think of another ride of simnilar quality so does anyone have any suggestions?

Derbyshire Bridge, over old road to Buxton, out on road to Whaley, fork right up steep single track road, follow this for a while until right onto bridle way, cross river at Fernilee, turn left and keep going through Goyt back to car
I've thought myself sometimes, one answer is to do the standard route backwards, bombing through the forest after ascending charity lane would be fun. Maybe get an OS Map and explore.
I remember gradbach wood being good but looking at the map it must have been pure cheek!
