Hi guys,

Was going to go to Cannock Chase tomorrow but think it is pretty boggy.

Is the Macc forrest route over to Danebower Hollow pretty rideable tomorrow or is it best avoided?

Thanks,

James

Tbh I'd check the cat and fiddle weather cam. Danebower hollow will be a bit wet...

It was fine last night, a couple of small patches of ice that's all.

Well it won't be boggy that's for sure as it's a pretty Stoney route. You can bet everything on it being wet though, Spesh down Charity, first bit if Bottom of the Oven, across Danebower and (assuming the route) Cumberland Clough.

It's a bit sticky from the stone barn to the Tarmac climb up to Charity and don't even bother with the fairy built tracks in the Forest itself. Can't vouch for the DH stuff but I bet that's greasy as a decent donner on a Fri night
