What's a decent but low-cost case for the 13" MacBook Pro? One of those neoprene things, maybe? Are they all more or less the same? Ta.

I got a leather crumpler one from the mighty TKMAX - it was about a tenner.

Not quite a case but I put these on every Mac laptop I've owned. If you do, just make sure to get the exact one for your particular model:

I use one of these for a 13" MBA. Bag and a sleeve in one, as the strap comes off.

...think it's discontinued, though, so here is a link to it's replacement:

Thule ones give a bit more protection than some. I use one on my 15" when cycling to work and it seems to do the business well.

Cheers for these. I have a backpack with a padded laptop section for carrying it around, so I'm probably just looking for something slimline that goes into the backpack, something like a sleeve. Those Vipers look good though. Other suggestions welcome.

If you're just looking for a sleeve, OP, then any old neoprene el cheapo one will do.

+1 for the speck cover. A great bit of kit and much less obtrusive than others in my experience.

Grabbed one of these recently...

Seems to be holding up okay. Not as snug as I'd like it but nicely protective.
