I've got some hope matchmakers to fit my 970 shifters to my tech m4, but i can't seperate the shifter from it's original mount. Bolt out, it slides along but won't seperate. Is there something blinding obvious I'm missing here? I'll blame it on being post nightshift if I am!!!

You need to open the shifter up as there is a small screw holding it altogether from the inside. Remove the tiny bolts to separate the halves of the shifter and you should be able to get in at the small screw. Should be obvious when you do it

You don't remove the thumb lever for a start. Let me look at mine. back in a mo.

Have you not got the assembly instructions from Hope. Email them for a replacement if you don't.
