11-40 & 11-42 cassette options, 1x, 2x & 3x cranks and just mechanical, me likey
strange that the product codes have changed. Deore XT was always M7-- series. original saint was M800, but now new XT is M8000
Means it's 1 better.
£75 rrp cassette too, that should please the [s]skinflints[/s] value conscious.

Bastards. Bought a double a few weeks ago and now the ****ing single comes out. Never mind.
It's not out for a couple of months yet!
Think of all the riding you can do before [s]they're obselete[/s] the new ones come out.
Must buy, 'tis shiny indeed
Still don't like the look of those cranks. But the rest is great news, I can go 11 speed for the price of 10 speed kit + oneup expander. As long as I can run exisiting cranks and narrow wide rings, shame XT cassette won't work with XTR mech, was quite getting used to the feel of XTR!
No mention of weights yet. The 11-36 cassette was already a porker, can't see this one being lighter.
Other than that, really pleased to see a 11-42t option with a mech that can handle it.
The chainring looks very good and should last ages with the steel teeth.
I like the look of the cranks tbh...at least the 1x
I like... Especially those prices
