Are shimano m785 and m8000 the same pads? .Cant seem to find much info apart from shimanos own pads seem to be listed as for both on some sites,, but say Uberbike race matrix are not listed for both ?
Any experience?

They don't come with the same pads but they are interchangeable.

We are running both sets of brakes. The pads are interchangeable and the Uberbike race matrix pads fit them both. Never had a problem with the race matrix pads

Cheers for the replys,I run both but the m8000 are newish,have 1 pair of shimano resins,but loads of race matrix finned jobbies .with the replacable pad section.they are great pads
