A bit of wood has sheared my rear banjo fitting off on the XT m8000 rear brake.
It's a swaged fitting so I'm hoping someone knows a 3rd party replacement that's a lot cheaper than buying a full new hose.
TIA!
No that's the lever end. It'll have to be 3rd party I'd say though, as the original is a swaged fitting.
Shimano sell a separate banjo unit, but it’s more expensive than a new hose, and clunkier too. Maybe worth a wee hunt for one in case you find someone with new old stock?
Part no is 8CL 9811
I couuldn't find anything when I was looking a few months back. Just had to cough up for the hose.
Stick a wanted ad on here for the hose length you need - might get one cheaper.
Maybe this will work?
