Bought a medium cage m780 a bit back but to me it looks quite a long cage.
Does 80mm between centres on the jockey wheel sound right?
It's only ever ran 1x10 and works fine apart from the ground clearance, although I got over excited when shortening the chain.

I do not have M780 but I have several M750 GS and SGS and M770/1/2 mixed GS and SGS.
I think your 80mm is a GS cage....my M750 had 100mm for SGS and ~75mm for GS.
