Anyone know if the cones are available separately?

I had a look at the shimano technical diagrams but it seems the left hand cone only comes with the axle, I dont really want to buy a whole axle if I can just buy a cone on its own.

Any help appreciated

Thanks

I bought a whole M785 hub from one of the German online shops for 30 quid. Meant I had spare axle, cones, cups, ball bearings, freehub (that alone costs 30 quid by itself) and quick release. I know this isn't what you're asking, but sometimes it's easier (and cheaper) just to get a whole donor hub.

SJS cycles stock a lot of small parts. I think I've bought a Shimano cone from them before.

Check the part number from the tech docs on the Shimano website.

As always, search uk importer Madison.co.uk for spares.

Cheers guys, I have done all that plus Petra cycles. But cant find a part number for the specific cone, it just seems to be part of the whole axle unit

search on page for 775

You might find a whole hub is the way to go!

I've got a hub which the freewheel messed up on
The cones should be ok. You can have it for postage cost

The driveside cone is not available individually, only as part of the axle.
