Did a full rebuild. Replaced both sides with new seals and o rings
Wish I hadn't now as the air side seems to take ages to pump up to even 50psi and then when I get to around to that figure the oil and dust seal pop off and starts leaking air
Any ideas on what is causing this before I pull em apart again
Cheers

The dust seal shouldn't be pressurised at all, so sounds like the lower air seal might be damaged & leaking somehow? & the reason it takes a long time to pump up if you're pressuring the lowers & not just the air chamber.
Ok cool. Will pull it apart and have another look
I dis change the baseplate to the 160mm version which was a bit of a pain so I good I didn't balls something up there
I'd guess that the seal on the top of the air shaft is damaged where it sits into the bottom of the stanchion, but obviously it's impossible to say without personally stripping them down & having a look.
Pulled it apart and found that I had forgotten to fit the inner o ring for the negative bumper which is now part of the length adjustment.
School boy error but thanks for pointing me in the right direction

I had exactly this and I had installed too thin rings on the negative bumper. The narrow fat o rings are the ones you want. Negative chamber pumping up slowly was key give away.
