I need a new fork.

Wiggle are doing these for 379...
https://www.wiggle.co.uk/rockshox-lyrik-rct3-boost-fork

For some reason they aren't on the CRC site

Has anyone by any chance ordered any and know any more details? I've asked Wiggle, but I guess they won't reply for a while, and the 10% off voucher for ebay ends today!

What details do you want to know that aren't in the spec/details section on the wiggle website. If you mention it here someone may know the answer.

I had it with some 36s. Silly price at Wiggle and not on CRC. Bought them anyway without a further discount. Once they were purchased the listing disappeared so I assumed it was the last one. Probably do that so two people on different sites can't buy the last one together. Figured if they weren't what I wanted I could send them back rather than miss them

Plus they are renowned for selling OEM stuff they take off full bikes as aftermarket.

Dont know how true it all is but spoken to a few bikes shops and whilst CRC / Wiggle prices are great for us joe punters, not heard many positive comments from bike shops.

In reality OEM is not that different but some companies specify a particular bike tune so its not the same as aftermarket out the box.

Mainly trying to find how old they are and what spring. Didn't the earlier lyriks have problems with damping? Or am I imaging that. Well I've ordered anyway. Not much more than buying used.

debonair spring - hopefully it will be the older B version. There isn't any change in the chassis or the damper in the last couple of years so it really doesn't matter if its 2018 or 2019 etc. Just pull the lowers and regrease/new oil.

There stock that where destined for Santa Cruz bikes but due to the pandemic things got delayed etc and you can't be fitting 2020 stock to a 22\23 bike if your Santa Cruz etc
There the same lyrik you'd get if buying them new back in the day
B1 air spring
Skf seals
Yet to find a pair of rs forks that were low of oil in nearly ten years so strap them on a ride them.
Absolute bargain at that price

Wiggle also do 365 day returns so it could be something someone had lying around for a while then decided they didn't need it

Mine arrived. Not sure how they posted them so quick. They are "FS-LYRK-RCT3-B1" so yes, the B1 spring.

That’s how Oem forks are packaged. Retail forks just have some cardboard at top and bottom to hold steerer and feet as well. It’s fine.

Yes, I peeled mine off.

Two tokens installed btw. There was no oil in the airspring either so I've added a few ml, makes them a lot plusher IMO.

Cheers for the sticker info. I'll be getting some orange stickers. 😀

These are replacing my 8 year old, never serviced Pikes. Might be time to start some bike maintenance!

In the air spring side of the lower leg, or within the air spring itself?
Only one of these is within my home maintainence capability…

Tokens are under the air cap, cassette tool to remove cap (let the air out first) and a hex key for the tokens.

Thanks for the heads up I ended up getting some Revelations
I might need to add some tokens and the website says I need Rockshox seal grease
Do I need to definitely use this or can I use anything else ?
Thanks

Sorry I meant the oil (or lack thereof)

Is it the case of a lower leg service - that I can do; or dismantaling the airshaft - which I cant?

Newer Pike manuals suggest a touch of oil (3ml maybe) in the token chamber, I think that was the suggestion above..

Take top cap off the air side of the fork. Squirt 3ml of fork oil in there. Put cap back on. No need to get to the lowers or take airshaft out.

Any of you know the offset of the forks you've received? There are 2 options listed against the model code
