2.85lb for the 17" mtb frame. That must be an otimistic weight surely?

All those various frames, but still no slidey-dropout 26" singlespeed frame 🙁

(and where did the edit-post button go for spelling corrections!)

TLR what are you on! Your bike collection is obscene! Apart from the Helius and the Lynksey, what else have you got?

Just sold a M230 after 6 months riding including a couple of 6 hr solo races. Not that impressed really.Cant say they have that ti thing going and they come up a little short in the top tube.On the plus side u cant built them up very light. Now set up a Soul with 100m forks and light kit for racing and find it a lot better bike, although slightly heavier

TLR - yep remembering your stable now from the MTBR forum post. Which do you enjoy riding most (and is that the one you spend the most time on?)

lusted after a litespeed circa '00 so yeah would love a lynskey.

coasting makes me think I should go out and ride my Cotic and give up these childish dreams.

the grass aint always greener I guess.

Looking at those prices, I don't feel too bad about what I paid for my Litespeed built Whyte 19 TI 🙂

meh. had a m220 that cracked. 3 month to get replacement. harsh ride, dent in downtube to take forks rather than re-designing it. ugly.

BB was not tapered properly and brake hose guides messed up.

sold it and got another frame. rubbish.

"2.85lb for the 17" mtb frame. That must be an otimistic weight surely? "

not really, the Genesis ti frame is 3.1lb in the 17.5" so i can imagine the Lynskey being lighter. stiffness-to-weight is what's important with ti tho, not just weight.

No offence Brant (surely thats retro-offence?) but I much prefer my Summer Lightning or a 456 to the ti456. I can say it now but its ****ing noodly. Reminded me of the steel Raleigh roadbike frame I had. The most flexible BB known to man! Awful.

That's an obscene amount of money for a frame, and almost makes shimano's price hike look reasonable!

"Gas prices have given us all thoughts of commuting to work, and along the way we noticed the places this frame could take us." in the blurb for a £1650 frame. I like.

"Gas prices have given us all thoughts of commuting to work"

well it made me think of turning the central heating down, tbh.

Just because On-one frames are cheap doesn't mean they're all made of gaspipe....

Why are they so much again?

Could be because they are hand made in the USA by experts in their fields with decades of experience and built with a zero comprise attitude, combined with the fact the pound is worth less than your reputation hora.

Nice, but for that much £££ the plastic cable guide just looks naff.
And I prefer the curved top tube on the On-One.
lecht...nice bike.

.. so how did the ride go then - you knew I was going to ask, right?!
Latest thoughts on the frame? Convince me!
