I vaguely seem to remember I may have asked before about the riding in the area, but will have been a couple of years back possibly.

Off with the caravan next week and wondering whether to take the Gravel bike or ebike. Any decent routes in the area?

Google throws up the Old Chalk Way, but the Lyme Regis end looks like a lot of road sections

Staying just out of town at Monkton Wyld. I know it's quite hilly. Took the eeb last time, but didn't go far. Likewise this time, I'll only want to disappear for a morning really, not a full dayer

Frequently down here but never with bike so I'm really posting this to bookmark replies.

I do know there is the https://eastdevontrail.com/ which spurs out to Lyme Regis. Goes via Trinity Hill which is pretty nice gravel but not huge. Plus pretentious breakfast at river cottage which is down the road.

Definitely more gravel than MTB over that way.

Trinity hill has a lot of fire trails and a few cheeky MTB trails.

Quite a few BWs and unmettalled roads in the Seaton/Colyton direction, though everything is very overgrown at the moment.
