Grew up in Lutterworth but that's 20 years ago. It's all a bit muddy fields from what I remember. If you have a road bike then the road riding is better. Some nice loops heading north towards Leicester. Stay on one side of the M1 up and then come down the other.

As above, I'm 8 miles north of Lutterworth and dont bother going out locally on my mtb. There are plenty of bridlepaths, but also loads of gates, so you can never get into a flow.
The roads North East of Lutterworth can be very quiet, apart from the A426/A5199, and around Bruntingthorpe between 4 and 5.30. Thats where I do my training rides.

I’m also a few miles north of Lutterworth and generally agree with the previous comments.

It is possible to link some bridleways together for an XC ride of sorts between Elmesthorpe, Sharnford, Stoney Stanton, Croft and Huncote but don’t expect much elevation and outright thrills. That said there are a few cheeky bits of singletrack around the Croft Hill area.
