So I finally had the SS built by my team, errrr cough, local bike shop mechanic and picked it up in this grimey depressing weather that seems to upset plans. 👿
I use to go ride in any weather particularly foul as found it fun but nowadays have newly found that dry trails are pretty noice and welcoming to ride.
Having said that, I'm still stoked as this has been a relatively quick stress free build from ordering frame and parts on and from 23rd July to completed build day TODAY!
Unfortunately my landscaped garden lawn needs mowing and no way the camera is going to see a droplet of rain. 😆
So after all that, I am now thinking sod it, I'm off out!
Also where ever you are in the world, rejoice for that fresh bike feeling that makes you all pumped.
😀
Right then, corrr a 19T vs 38T (1:2 ratio) was a bit brutal on the steep climbs but didn't need to stop thank the lord.
I'm thinking now going down this ratio route on a 29er wasn't really sensible...
Just wondering how much easier if that noticeable would a 20T on the rear be?
Bloomin' Police road closure cut my ride short to the offroad.
Got filthy manure muck all over me, and feel much better for it 😛
