I think i accidentally overdid it the other week whilst out for a bimble around wiltshire's hill-lets. The next day (or day after) I got a lump about 3 inches above my left knee which is hard and slightly painful to the touch. Didn't notice anything whilst out riding or gurning my way up a hill.
I've got a doctor's appointment booked for next tuesday but just wondered if anybody has done something similar to themselves, whether it healed up without major intervention and how long it took and whether they stayed off riding for that time?
Ta!
100% amputation, with that level of detail.
Hit it with the family Bible.
I've got exactly the same thing, but above my right knee. Appeared overnight about 7-8 years ago. The Doctor says it is some sort of non-cancerous tumour which they will only remove if it becomes so big as to be a real problem. It has grown a bit recently and I am thinking about having it removed now.
