i'm planning to get a set of lumicycle lights . if i buy new it'll probably be the LED3 XPG elite set. however, they seem to be cheap second on ebay etc (although i assume the LED's have changed a lot over the last few years). is it true that lumicycle upgrade LED's in older units? should i not bother and shed out for the new version? its for off-roading, realistically 1 hour cross-country rides and the odd bigger thing..... who knows? i'm sure the older ones would do me fine (better than my cateye at the moment). but do the batteries reduce in capacity over years of recharging?

many thanks for help....

i'll be posting in the classifieds soon, depending on advice.....

If you have the older Led3, Lumi will upgrade it to the XPG for £80
