So after riding a friends 5 I fell in love and set about searching for a second hand frame. Thanks to Scant off here (cheers mate) I now have my own.

Finally got round to fully building (except running the brake through the swing arm) and fitting the KS Lev. I've used a mix of parts some new but most transferred off my 2011 Camber.

I can't wait to get out and ride this thing now. Test spin tomorrow. 🙂

Just noticed it looks a little like a filing cabinet 😉

Nice, but the butterfly isn't quite symmetrical!

Ha ha it actually is as it was created by my year 2's on a computer program. The star fish magnet is making it look strange.

Hang on, is the sink cupboard covered in bubble wrap?

You need to finish unpacking that cupboard by the sink.

Ha ha ha I like my bikes dull, then I'm not sad when they scratch.

Yep bubble wrap, shoddy building means the water runs and damages the doors. Rented property so a quick fix.

I know people go on about how ugly they are, (not that it matters) but the frame itself isn't that bad a shape. It's the unflattering graphics that do the most damage. I've just visited the orange site and it's a theme for all their bikes. A decent logo and someone who isn't the bosses son doing the artwork and they might actually look quite good.

Just out of interest, how much do these go for secondhand?

Never met an owner who didn't like theirs, but I'd never, ever buy a new one.

So, is the front brake the type that you throw the caliper into the spokes? 😉

Ha ha ha front disc went on after this pic was posted. I forgot which part box it was in.

I paid £720 for this one, it's a 2012 maxle rear end model.

The white one, whilst easily mistaken, is actually a fridge. Crazy I know. Who would build a fridge that looks like a bike! 😉
