Lets spin the wheel...

I reckon he's going to plump for a hardtail this time. I'm going for a Cotic bfe. What do you reckon....

Did the powder coaters melt the SX?

He was after a c456 the other day.

I'll go for some sort of 29er. It opens up a while new world of product incompatability and component 'failure' moans.

what happened to the custom ti frame from chin that looked almost exactly like a specialized SX trail? And the nukeproof mega? And the Specialized SX's new paint job?

Has he ever had an actual SX rather than the trail version?

How long since the last chameleon?

I reckon it'll be custom Ti from China.

Defo' hardtail & here's my top 3 Hora wish list in an imaginative order of preference (based on unlikelyness of finding one & subsequent moaning angst):

1) Dialled Alpine mk1 in obscure unpopular size but has to be like new, will want it to cost pennies, and in any event will be too small.
2) Bfe mk1 in grey but has to be like new, will want it to cost pennies and in any event will be too small.
3) Evil Sovereign Mk1 853 frame but has to be like new, will want it to cost pennies, and in any event will be too small.

Remember Justa off this forum? He was worse than Hora but bought a Ventana and calmed down a bit. My guess is he's waiting for Santa Cruz to offer the chameleon in 29er. He'll have one and respray it Kawasaki green.

Well I'm going to use this powdercoater in Stockport if he isn't!

The actual frame is irrelevant as long as it keeps the attention focused on the Internet persona he has created then the ego is happy. In cases like this attention is still good even if it takes the form of ridicule.

A NOS Ellsworth specialist that is too small. Perpetrators always like to revist a scene of past crimes so this is an obvious choice, or possibly a Rocky Mountain RMX?

I find the constant abuse of Hora by his detractors* to be more annoying than the miscreant himself

If he ever said 'this has gone too far' I'd stop.

He seems to take it as good natured ribbing rather than malicious wee taking though.

What was wrong with the Mega and the SX trail?

Or is this in addition as he has some spare cash as he is no longer buying another car to drive to France for a week?

He loves it! Its like therapy. And Its the way we express our love for him, in a suitably dysfunctional manner 😉

Binners your original post reminded me of..

[img] [/img]

I can't afford a Mega in the right size. I'm waiting for a Santa Cruz TRa. In the meantime its a steel or c456 frame and the SX. I can't decide on the resprayed colour.

He said on MTBR that he already had a steel HT and wanted to lower his 55
If steel ideal would have been a white Sanderson Life however I can't drop my fork travel and I love those 55's. Best/cheap forks I've ever owned.

I'm trying to flog him my car - any advice?
Your there as its a Subaru. A Beemer will always be a passing thought 😉

How does this work seeing as a TRa will probably be at least 50% more expensive than a Mega?

mrblobby - don't do this to yourself. Just accept that you've entered the vortex of Hora Logic (TM), and leave it at that. For your own mental well-being, please.

I don't have a spare c£900 knocking about to spend on a Mega ATM. In a years time when the TRa will be out I'll buy it on 0%.

Plus Mega's (nice) aint worth £900 though IMO.

The only ones for sale are mediums (too short really) or a large in Switzerland.

Why is a medium here, a large in Switzerland? Do they have a shorter inside leg measurement?

Like a medium waist in America being an XXL everywhere else on the planet?

Anyway' back on topic eh?

http://singletrackmag.com/forum/topic/trek-remedy-8-frame-2011-exceptional-condition-hardly-used-14mths-old-175in

This would be perfect if he can knock £500 off the price. Obviously it's way too small so like I said. This would be perfect! 😉

Bregante. I saw that. A lovely paint scheme as well. When hora junior hits 3 we'll get part of the nursery fee's paid so I should have abit more money spare then. Heniously expensive. Think I might sell guns and run drugs instead for a living 😉
