My Sonder Frontier has served me well for the last couple of years and has been a great introduction to the marvel of 29” wheels. The bike has been a comfortable mile muncher along the Downs, but I’ve often found that it lacks “fun”, so I’d rather like to try a different frame that will hopefully make me smile.
I quite like the look of the Cotic Solaris or the Pace 429, but really don’t want another frame covered with mounting points that I’ll never use, so what’s out there ?
preferably made from metal
100-120mm fork
straight seat tube
no brace from seat tube to top tube
not covered in mounting points and bolts
Thanks in advance 😄
cheers
Pipedream Sirius
Nordest Britango
I'd go full xc machine like the Specialized Chisel.
Although I do like the new Solaris, and have a test ride arranged with Cotic, even started a thread on it, as I used to have a 26" wheeled Soul and was feeling all nostalgic and thought the new Solaris was the modern replacement.
