Look X-Track Experiences?

So, current Time ATACs are getting on a bit, and I'm getting tired of having to regularly replace the brass cleats.

Anyone used Look X-Tracks? Have seen a review suggesting the bearings aren't tremendous.

Essentially looking for something that has cartridge bearings and also does a single-sided 'commuting' pedal (whcih rules out e.g. Hope) if anyone has other suggestions.

Are you thinking of the En-Rage?

The X-Track is a fairly conventional double sided SPD a-la Shimano M520 etc.

I have them on two bikes, neither has done a huge number of miles so can't really comment on anything other than fuss-free performance, cleats clog slightly more than ATACs but I prefer the feel (less float I guess).

If/when they wear out I'd probably consider them again or just go back to Shimano, I don't think there's much in it except perhaps weight.

I have them on a couple of bikes. Classic is quite cheap £30 or so with cleats. Race a bit more expensive but not too bad and noticably lighter (in the hand). Seem to hold up well and perform just like you would expect.

Thanks both. Are the cleats Shimano compatible or have I misunderstood?

Yep, Look cleats are Shimano compatible

3rd year on a set of Look pedals on the gravel bike, been faultless in all that time.
