I really need to get myself some longs, shins took a right hammering last night from the trailside nettles, been itching like scouse mongrel all day.

I have so far managed to avoid lycra longs, I fear it now may be time....!

Any recommendations anyone?, I ain't paying a fortune for them though.

i tried the 'not paying a fortune' thing and ended up with baggy crap.

I use Demarchi ones for winter road riding, specialized for winter mtb and altura for slghtly warmer mtb rides.

in summer i just man up

I've got some endura longs that are quite good, Humvee I think, quite lightweight.
