hello all,
most frames use 200x57 mm shocks ,but from my own experience longer shocks perform a lot better in rough DH stuff. Bikes I know about using longer shocks YT Capra ,Transition Patrol , Banshee Rune. What other frames out there that I dont know about? Please tell if you know. (looking for 216mm or 220mm)
Heckler & Nomad are up there at 216.
I don't think you can get it as frame alone, but the Whyte G160 uses a 216x63mm shock
Though I'd rather pick the package over the shock size.... Nomad was a fun beast though...
Bird Aeris runs a 216*63
Orange Alpine is 216/63 innit?
Foes bikes have always been big believers in using long shocks relative to the travel.
orbea rallon = 216 x 63
Would have thought most of the current crop of 160mm bikes have shocks around that length.
Seems more prevalent than 200x57 yeah
You are going to love 2017 😀
