Me and a mate have got passes to do a mtb trip in France.
Where's the best/cheapest place and time to go for a first time visit?
Any recommends for a long weekend?

What kind of riding? Dh trail am xc?
Les arcs, st foye la thuile area was great though would need some guiding. More massive versions of UK mountain trails.

I'd simply look for the shortest transfer time from the airport if you're only going for a few days... Morzine is an hour from Geneva and for that reason alone would be hard to beat
