I'm looking for a long top tube bag for my wife's new Cube hybrid. Ideally something similar to a Restrap frame bag but to sit on the top tube. There's no room for a frame bag once a bottle is in there.
Any ideas what is out there?
Thanks

I use one from decathlon, can't access their website at the moment though. I reckon you'd be able to mount that on the top tube as it has two straps along the length and one that would fit to the seat tube, and it was less than a tenner!!

custom bag?  I got one from bikebags / buggy bags for not much more than an off the peg one.

The problem I have found with top tube bags is they have a tendency to flop to one side, although I'd agree that your options are going to be limited.

I'd be looking at the range from Alpkit, and a custom bag won't be much more than an off the peg one. If you put the fat end of a Possum on the seat tube / top tube junction, it wouldn't rob much stand over height either.

You could also think about using a stem cell type bag, will hold a bottle pretty securely and free up the main triangle for a full bag. Or a bottle cage mounted to the front of the seat tube, but that might be annoying when pedalling...

The only ones I've seen have been custom / one-offs for expedition bikes - you'd probably want something with a stiffener along the bottom to stop it flopping to the side. Judy @ Beerbabe could probably make you something.

I'd go custom.

I have a friend who makes backpacks. He never made any kind of bike bag, but we designed and made a half frame bag for me in a few hours. It was pretty cheap, it fits perfectly on my frame, and it's camo. 😀

You need some kind of fabric for example Cordura, zipper(s), webbing, and two sided velcro.
