So, I used to use the Fabric XL grips as due to having large hands I prefer a longer grip. I can't seem to get hold of these any more (Tredz list them but it's anyones guess if they actually have them or not) and they were a ridiculously hard compound anyway. Most grips I've seen seem to list themselves as being of a "normal", "thick", or "thin" diameter but don't really seem to list the length. Is there anything similar to the Fabric grips which are 145mm long?
These are popular. Not tried em as they're a bit pricy.

"The overall length of the grip including the end plug is 144mm, the usable area is around 120mm"
+1 what Dez said, assuming he's talking about the GD1's...
i have then on my bike, my favourite grips ive ever had, and super long!

The Ergon ones look interesting, not sure about the flange - I need to get on the bike and see if it will get in the way.
Those ESI ones are monsters! Not sure i could go back to non-lockon grips though.

Chromag square wave XL are longer and slightly thicker than most.
the flange is unobtrusive. ive never really noticed its there

Good to hear - now if I could only find a set of standard diameter ones in black I'd be laughing. I can find slim black ones and any diameter I like in Orange at the moment.
Esi won't shift.
Way nicer than lockons too.
