Hi,

Want peoples opinion on weather to wait for the out of stock short cage derailleur that I want or get the in stock long cage version at a really good price?

Are there any mayor advantages to getting a short cage over a long cage?

Looking at the xtr shadow plus.

Cheers

Lower weight for mech and chain as will be shorter and most important will be less chain slap as more tension and crisper shifting

Surely the weight savings would be minimal over long or short cage?

I thought the reason was all down to gearing, what you runing single double or triple?
