Travelling down to London tomorrow ready to start London Paris on Wednesday, and still cant decide what to do on bike as weather looks shite for the 4 days
1 Mudguards yay or nay
2 Full on road tyres or some conti tour riders for better grip in the wet
3 v light waterproofish ronhill jacket or heavier regatta fully waterproof one

tread won't give you any more grip if you're on road, as you're not going to be going fast enough to hydraplane, all it does is slow you down. So I guess that's q2 answered
