I thought you could always take a folding bike on? It just has to be folded.

taking a bike back on the train will be VERY tricky this weekend. They change the rules all the time TBH when it comes to the L2B. Although, 'gofaster is probably right, they'd have a hard time stopping you as the general rule is folders are fine.

Maybe book a coach? You'd be sure then.

I suspect it depends how jobsworth the staff are being.

Take a big bin liner to put it in just in case?

Good thought on the bin bag!

I am hedging my bets it will be ok!

A bag could work.

I've taken full-size bikes on trains in London in peak times before, just take them apart, wrap them up and say "It's my luggage".

They don't like it, but it's worked for me in the past [like, actually in from of the guy who just stopped me from passing the barrier, LOL]
