Trying to get hold of 50ml 243, but seems like there are lots of fakes on eBay and Amazon. Can anyone recommend a reputable reseller?

RS, Farnell or Brammer. The three we use at work.

How do you know that eBay ones are fake? The feedback?

The stick I got off there has kept my pedal pins in fine.

I bought some from eBay and it was thick and gloopy - nothing like the 10ml bottle I bought from Halfords. So can only assume it’s fake - that and the reseller has been kicked off eBay. Price difference is another thing £7 for 50ml off eBay compared to £40 from RS.

RS also do their own brand thread lock at a far more reasonable price, but you may not see it if you're searching for Loctite.

But it's not £7 if it's fake, is it..?

Also, how much are you using!? I have a couple of 10ml bottles that last me for ages - you literally only need a thin film of it.

The plastic tube like a Chapstick or lipstick, that's what I use too.

I just use the leftovers from work, we have to bin it on the use by date. I must have about a liter of the stuff now, and 222.

The Everbuild stuff works just fine. £3.50 on ebay.
