Broke the speed lace style laces on my Scott shoes so need some replacements. Has anyone tried the elasticated ones in cycling shoes? I ride singlespeed so often need a good pull up, which obviously not necessary for normal trainers.
Hmmm...
Not much help here but I bought them and use them on my 5/10 flats.
Not sure if they would be supportive enough for your purposes to be honest. A bit too much give I would think.
That was my thinking. Shimano make a replacement kit by the looks of it, I'll try and work out if the laces would be long enough for my shoes.
Edit - just found a cycling website review, I think this bit is important.
I've used them on skate style SPD shoes too and they're fine there as long as there's an instep strap to stop your foot pulling up.
Shimano kit it is then!
