Group of five of us are planning on riding the Syfydrin trail at Nant yr Arian on Sunday. Couple of us have done it before, know the scale of the ride although the weather was fine. Google tells me it's gonna chuck it down with rain from now until Sunday and then everyday until they get the ark out.
How does Nant Yr Arian cope with the wet weather? If it was horrendous we were gonna go to Llandegla instead but that looks like it's going to be even wetter.
Any advice you guys can offer on the best decision?
Nant y never seems to change no matter how much it rains.
There'll also be less scousers there.

This really, it's mostly rock. Been up today and ridden various bits and all riding good. Rode the Syfydrin climb back to nant (albeit backward) and it's puddly but fine. I'd be more worried about the wind if today was anything to go by.
We rode at Llandegla today, it was wet but still perfectly rideable, although there was ice on the puddles on the exposed bits outside the forest.
'Degla for all its faults does, hold up well in the wet. I've been twice in the last month and it's bearable despite the rain.
Don't discount Coed y Brenin.
Holds up well in the wet, decent trails (much better than Degla), options on trails dependant on your intentions, nice Cafe, heated floor in the changing rooms and prob a lot quieter than Degla
