Hi I'm in the middle of fitting a superstar chain guide and a new bb so the bb is 73mm and the chain guide is iscg mount there should be 1 spacer on the drive side without a chain guide the question is do I need to add a spacer to the bb to compensate for the chain guide any help would be great cheers eddy
You shouldn't have to add another spacer as far as i'm away as the iscg mounts are essentially in line behind the spacer of the bb (if that makes sense?) You may however have to add a washer or 2 when fitting the chainguide, mainly just about playing with it until it's right, usually what i end up doing when fitting a chainguide. 🙂
Sound cheers for that will have a play
