Went out without a chamois pad at the weekend (have ridden for years without, then went back to padded).
Was far more comfortable without
My old lycra undershorts without a pad are nearing the end of their life - is there a fitted undershort out there that's maybe a slightly different material to lycra, maybe a tiny bit thicker, wicking, comfortable?
I’ve used Nike Pro Dri-Fit for years - super comfy!
Under Armour do some good compression shorts. Got a few pairs for running, occasionally wear them cycling. Well made, very comfy. Should do the job.
@supernova - those Dilling shirts look good, how are the seams for longer rides? I find on a lot of non-riding shorts the stitching rubs my sit bones.
I just used two pairs to ride from Rome to the Forest of Dean with no problems.
I've worn these exclusively for years, including 2 100mile mtb rides.
Various leg lengths available and they also come in black.
I use Nike Dri-fit (Sports Direct), Under Armour or I have some Adidas ones as well. All worked well and last a while.
