My xc bike has a Maxzis Ignitor LUST in 26 x 2.1 On todays ride, it has somehow delaminated and now has a large 'egg' on it. Its as though the tread has come away from the carcass. I run them tubeless.

Is there anything else i should consider before i replace like for like?

I've had that delamination on a Maxxis Advantage 2.1 but was years old & needed replacing anyway.
I like Ignitor on the front, also 2.1 HR or search out the Ranchero

Love Ignitors.

Bontrager XR4's have a similar profile and are a little slower but grippier.

Don't like High Rollers, completely different profile and feel for me.

Thanks for the suggestions. I will check them out. The tyre was pretty old and low mileage, sobwas orobably due a change 🙂

How about a direct replacement
